Our Highland cow isn’t just part of the experience—he’s a cherished member of the Rooterville family.
🐮 Jett – Our superstar Highland cow! With his long, fluffy coat and laid-back personality, Jett loves bananas, chin scratches, and gentle cuddles. Many guests find lying beside him to be one of the most peaceful experiences they’ve ever had.
🌟 Fun Fact: While Jett himself isn’t a rescue, he plays an important role in supporting our mission. Half of the proceeds from cuddle sessions with him helps take care of the 100+ rescued animals at Rooterville.
Welcome & Orientation: Meet your host, usually Penny who is a wonderful volunteer. We will answer your questions and show you how to interact safely and respectfully with Jett.
Please remember, if you had a great time, tipping your host is welcome and encouraged.
Gentle Introduction: Spend 30 or 45 minutes of private cuddle time with Jett. He’ll guide the interaction—whether that means brushing, petting, hugging or leaning against his cozy fluff.

Session Details:
- Duration: From 30 minutes to 2 hours of dedicated cuddle time.
- Group Size: Sessions are intimate, designed for individuals or small groups to ensure quality interaction.
- Pricing: (Please note that your booking directly supports the care of our rescued animals and a farm visit is included!)
- Cuddles are priced per two guests.
Availability: Highland Cow Cuddle sessions are by appointment only. Please use our booking system to select your preferred date and time.
Age Restrictions: Children must be at least 10 years old to cuddle with Jett, he doesn't care for small kids. An adult must accompany children under 12. Our baby cows love everyone but due to their size, we recommend kids be at least 6 years old but you can be the judge, you know your kids. Children must be calm, quiet and gentle while in with the cows.

What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty or furry.
Will the cows always interact?
While our Highlands are very friendly, they are sentient beings. We never force interaction; their participation is always voluntary. We find their calm demeanor often encourages beautiful connections.
What if it rains?
In the event of heavy rain or severe weather, sessions will be rescheduled or a credit issued. Light rain will proceed as planned, so dress accordingly.
Can I feed them treats?
For their health, please do not bring any outside food for the cows. Our staff will provide any necessary treats.
