What is Cow Cuddling?
Cow cuddling is a simple but powerful form of animal therapy and its just alot of fun too! Visitors can relax deeply by leaning against a cow, brushing its coat, or sitting quietly beside it. This creates a real bond with an animal that offers unconditional acceptance.

Meet Jett, Our Gentle Highland Cow
Each cow at Rooterville has a personality of their own:
You'll have the chance to meet our special Highland cows: Jett, Phoebe, Penny, Zoe, and little Chase.
Jett – Our superstar Highland cow! Gentle, chill, and always happy to cuddle. Guests love lying beside him for hugs and photos. Jett is more than just a beautiful, majestic Highland; he's a personal cow from my farm, Fluffy Cow Farm and Gardens. After 30 years of taking in everyone's throw-aways, I treated myself to Jett. He's one in a million. He has a gentle, happy, and cuddly personality. He helps keep Rooterville's animals from being euthanized because of a lack of funds.
Chase – Jet’s baby, playful and sweet, learning to love people and neck scratches. Best friends with Zoe.
Zoe – A little shy but warming up quickly—she loves scratches and bananas!
Phoebe – White with brown nose and ears, she’s like a puppy dog who’ll rest her head in your lap.
Penny – A shaggy red bottle baby who thinks she’s part human and hogs the fan on warm days.
🌟 Fun Fact: Our Highlands are not rescues, but they help promote the welfare of Rooterville animals. Half of every cuddle dollar goes directly to care for the rescued animals at Rooterville. These sweethearts are helping their friends live safe, happy lives.
Our dream is bigger than cow hugs (though we think they’re one of the best things on Earth). We want every “amoozing” moment you share with them to spark something in your heart. A reminder that every animal feels joy, fear, and love, just as we do. Together, we can create a world where kindness is the rule, not the exception, and all living beings are treated with respect.

What to Bring: Closed-toe shoes, long pants for sitting comfortably, and treats if you’d like (bananas are Jett’s favorite!). Animal snack bags are also available for purchase in our gift shop.
Safety: Our caring staff will guide you through every interaction. Jett always has the choice to engage or rest, ensuring his comfort comes first. Staff are happy to snap photos so you can treasure the memories!
