Rescued Animals of Rooterville Sanctuary

Welcome to the heart of Rooterville Animal Sanctuary, where our mission truly comes alive through the individual lives we've saved. This is where you can meet the beloved rescued farm animals in Florida that now call Rooterville their forever home. Each resident carries a unique story of survival, resilience, and the profound power of compassion. They are not just animals; they are family, ambassadors for their species, and living testaments to the impact of human kindness.

A Home for Life – They're Family

At Rooterville, every animal that arrives receives a lifetime commitment of love, care, and respect. From the moment they step onto our peaceful acres, their past of neglect or abuse is left behind, replaced by a future filled with dignity, joy, and the freedom to simply be themselves.

Our dedicated team ensures they receive personalized veterinary care, nutritious food, enriching environments, and abundant affection. This section is a celebration of their new beginnings and the incredible transformations they undergo.

Featured Animals / Our Residents Gallery

Dive into the stories of some of our most beloved Rooterville sanctuary animals. This gallery offers a glimpse into the diverse personalities and inspiring journeys that make our community so special.

Daphne, one of our most beloved pigs, survived terrible neglect but now thrives at Rooterville. She’s often the first to greet visitors with her big personality.

Guests love that you can rub a pig’s belly and discover just how affectionate and playful pigs really are. This simple act creates a connection and shows how much joy these animals bring when given love and respect.

Our beautiful Highland cows, like the handsome Jett, are famous for their long fluffy coats and sweet nature. They adore being brushed, hugged, and even spoiled with bananas.

Rooterville offers a truly unique opportunity to pet fluffy Highland cows and enjoy an unforgettable farm animal petting experience. When you book a cuddle session, you’re not only creating memories — you’re also helping provide food, care, and safe homes for rescued animals.

Description Title

Our goats are endlessly curious and playful, always ready to make new friends. Children especially love meeting them, making Rooterville a favorite spot for a family-friendly farm experience.

Alongside goats, you’ll also meet chickens, turkeys, a proud peacock, and other rescued residents, each with a unique personality and story.

Our flock of turkeys, chickens, guineas, and even a peacock bring color and charm to the farm. Some turkeys are more than 15 years old and still going strong! Visitors love to bring healthy snacks like blueberries, melon chunks, or mealworms to share. It’s a family-friendly way to connect with these remarkable birds.

Beyond the Barnyard – Every Story Matters

Whether it’s goats, rescued horses, or our playful farm friends, every animal here has a farm animal rescue story. Some came from neglect, others were abandoned, and some were saved from difficult circumstances.

``At Rooterville, each member of this family has found safety, love, and the chance to simply be themselves.

Engaging, joyful, and unforgettable—perfect for little hands and curious hearts!
