  • 3/2/18 at 1pm: Grand Re-opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

    In celebration of National Pig Day, join Rooterville as we re-open for the spring! After a busy (and cold!) winter, we are excited to welcome visitors back to the sanctuary. Participate in the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Clay Chamber of Commerce, tour the sanctuary, and say hi to all of your favorite animal ambassadors!

    3/8/18 6-8pm: The Last Pig Documentary Screening

    THE LAST PIG follows a farmer through his final year of farming pigs, portraying his struggle to reinvent his life, and the ghosts that will haunt him forever. The film raises important questions about equality and the value of life, and encourages us to have a more compassionate attitude towards animals. Join Rooterville for a screening of the film, followed by a Q&A via Skype with the filmmaker after the screening.

    4/14/18 1-4pm: Wine & Cheese Tasting

    Spring is finally here, and Rooterville is celebrating with an elegant afternoon of wine, cheese, and your favorite animal ambassadors.
