Merry Christmas!  Escape the craziness of the holiday with a calming escape with the animals at Rooterville.

Get away from the holiday rush and relax, refresh and regroup in the peacefullness of the sanctuary with our amazing animals.  This is a special time for you to come and enjoy the serenity of the sanctuary and calming presence of the animals.  Its a private experience for you as our gift. 

We hope you'll use this time to reflect on the true meaning of the season and the wonder of it all.  God came down.  How profound.  And the first of His creation to experience it was the humble, innocent animals of the stable.  The Savior of the World was born in a barn surrounded by animals.  There is something magical about it all.

He came for them too, not just humans.  One day, there will be no death, no killing for pleasure, no suffering, no tears.  As we long for that day, let's do our best to help keep that spirit of Christmas alive all year long.  God loved His creation so much that He came down.  May His Peace and Blessing surround you!
